What we collect

The details you enter in the call-back form: your name, phone number or email address, and your message.

The details needed for a job: the work address, a description of the work done, and the amount charged.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is never sent to this site, and we never see it.

Why we keep it

To contact you about your job, carry out the work, send your invoice, and keep the records required for tax purposes.

Your information is never used for advertising, and it is never sold or shared for anyone else's use.

Where it is kept

In this website's database, hosted by Cloudflare.

With Stripe, for payments and refunds.

In Gmail, for the emails we send and receive.

Your booking and contact details are also stored in the business's Google Calendar and Google Contacts so we can schedule the work and return your call. Archived customers are removed from the contacts list. These details are never shared or used for advertising.

Copies of your invoices and receipts, photos of the work, and any sign-off you sign are kept in the business's Google Drive with its records. They are never shared for anyone else's use.

How long

Job and payment records are kept for at least six years after the end of the tax year, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. They are not deleted automatically; after that period, the business may choose to delete them.

A call-back message that does not lead to a job is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Getting a copy or having it deleted

To request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to ask for it to be deleted, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

If the law requires us to keep a record (such as a paid invoice, for the period above), we will tell you.
